Visconti-Sforza Tarot

This is such an amazing deck......the cards are huge and beautiful.  They are about 3 1/2" by 7".  The cards are reproductions of one of the oldest and most complete surviving decks.  They are very faithful reproductions, the images showing every detail from peeling paint to holes punched in the cards.  There are 4 cards missing from the deck which were recreated by the artist.  The Tower, the Devil, the Knight of Coins and the 3 of Swords.  The minor arcana are just pips, no scenes.  This deck is too large for be to shuffle easily.  I usually don't do major arcana only readings, but if I did this deck would be great.  There is a comprehensive booklet which shows small pics of the cards with meanings and some history.  This is necessary because there are no titles on the cards.  If you don't know your Tarot symbology you might be at sea without the book.  This deck is out of print now I believe......I got mine on E-Witch in a wonderful custom made wooden box.   It retailed for $39.95, so it wasn't cheap even when it was in print.   If you are a collector or love Tarot history and see one of these, get it.

Siiighhhh, of course all of the cards are the same size, but I had to use my handheld scanner and I guess I'm not very good with it.
The backs are just a plain red color, no pattern at all.
